It all began in the early 1920's as a Swedish Mission Church and at some point became the Riverland Pentecostal Mission and became affliated with Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC). It was decided at a meeting on March, 8, 1952 to change the name to the Full Gospel Mission (Church). In 1964 the land title was transfered to the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. Nearly 20 years later, after much prayer and consideration, a huge step of faith was made to construct a new church facilty in 1983, which was also completed in that year. In the spring of 1984 the church became known as Abundant Life Chapel. At a congregational meeting in January 2023 it was decided to add onto the current facility in making it more accessible for those in wheelchair. Construction on the 800 square foot additon was completed in 2024.
We are affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, which have more than 1100 other churches in their fellowship. CLICK HERE for more info about the PAOC nationaly or CLICK HERE to know more about the PAOC provincially.
